Program Title: Burns Paiute Tribe Community Heat Pump Deployment Program (CHPDP)
Program Administrators: Rural Regional Revitalization (R3), in partnership with Greater Eastern Oregon Economic Development Corporation (GEODC) and Oregon Department of Energy
Program Dates: Beings April 2024, Ends December 30th, 2025 or when funding is no longer available
Communities Served: Enrolled Burns Paiute Tribal Members residing in the state of Oregon
Program Details: We are pleased to announce that R3 and GEODC are partnering with Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) to administer their Community Heat Pump Deployment Program to enrolled Burns Paiute Tribal Members. This program allows us to cover up to $7,000 towards Heat Pumps Technologies to residents in need of more efficient heating/cooling in their homes.
In this program, R3 and GEDOC will utilize a system in which clients who are in more dire situations are given the opportunity to receive assistance first.
There are no restrictions as to what utility you use, and if you are interested in learning more or would like to be considered for this program, please contact GEODC at energy@geodc.net.
