Southeast Area Commission on Transportation
The Southeast Area Commission on Transportation (SEACT) acts as an
advisory body to the Oregon Transportation Commission (OTC). It serves as a
forum for local government agencies and the private sector to discuss,
understand and coordinate long-range transportation issues affecting the
southeast Oregon region. Some of the specific responsibilities include reviewing
the process and making recommendations for transportation infrastructure,
capital investments and project prioritization in the region, communicating
southeast Oregon regional transportation issues to the public, neighboring
regions, area legislators and other interested organizations, and advising the
OTC on state and regional policies affecting the region’s transportation system.
The Southeast Area Commission on Transportation is a function of the
Southeast Regional Alliance.
