2009 Morrow County Needs and Issues Inventory
The Needs and Issues Inventory is a listing of all
projects within Morrow County that are seeking financial assistance
from the Morrow County Tippage Fees. Project sponsors
complete an application and prioritize their own projects, if
necessary. The Morrow County Economic Development Committee, with
representation from throughout the county, evaluates all proposals
and makes a funding recommendation to the Morrow County Court. The
County Court makes the final award decisions.
All cities, special districts, ports, non-profit organizations or
other groups that provide services benefiting the residents of
Morrow County are encouraged to participate in this program. More
specific guidelines may be found by clicking below on the Program
Guidelines.
This program has been completed for 2009. On October 28, the
Morrow County Court met in regular session and awarded this year’s
Tippage Fee grants. There were 59 applications requesting a total of
$1,132,885. Of these, 28 projects received funds totaling $250,000.
Below is a link to a list of all 2009 applications and awards.
